Le poids lourd a déclaré dans une récente émission télévisée en Roumanie que deux remplaçants étaient considérés, et pas des moindres : Badr Hari et Tyrone Spong.

Posté le: Lun Fév 28, 2011 8:18 pmBig blow for It's Showtime and Amsterdam Kickboxing: according to dutch newspaper Het Parool It's Showtime +95 kg champion Hesdy Gerges has been arrested for his involvement of dealing 128 kilograms of cocaine.
Hesdy was arrested in his appartment in Amsterdam-north this morning on request of Belgium authorities, who will be asking for his extradition.
Besides Hesdy there were four more suspects arrested and ten locations have been searched and numerous weapons, ammunition, phones and computers have been found.
This all couldn't happen at a worse time for Hesdy who finally had broken trough to the top of kickboxing. Also this incident won't help in the case against the current mayor of Amsterdam who wants to ban kickboxing events from his city because of the ''criminals'' who are involved. Before the arrest of Hesdy, high leveled Muay Thai fighter and respected lawyer, Ashwin Balrak was arrested for the possesion of drugs.
The chances that Hesdy will fight at It's Showtime upcoming card on the 6th of March seems very small.
